BLOOMINGTON NORMAL, ILLINOIS – January 11, 2010 – Select Archery & Outdoor Supply announced the opening of their new 6,000 square feet store in Crossroads Center. Boasting an indoor practice range that is sure to become a community attraction, Select Archery & Outdoor Supply offers a wide selection of compound bows at affordable prices, accessories to outfit your bow, and an experienced staff with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products carried in the store. The store also offers a full range of services including expert tuning of your equipment. Jim Rumps, President of Select Archery & Outdoor Supply, started the company back in March 2002 with a simple goal: “To serve the needs of archery and outdoor enthusiasts to the best of my ability and at the lowest price possible.” Hours of operation, Monday-Friday 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. or contact them at (309) 862-2697 or on the web at http://www.selectarchery.com/; ask about their new indoor leagues! Select Archery & Outdoor Supply was started in March of 2002 by Jim Rumps; who at the time was a full time high school teacher and could not afford much of what was being offered in local pro shops and many of the so-called big online discount stores, this resulted in a web-based, small store in 2002. By December 2009 Rumps was able to move into a larger location at 474 Wylie Drive, in Crossroads Center with help from Vice President, Randy Workman and Store Manager, Brian Kirby.
Managed by SugarOak Management Services since 2005, Crossroads Center is located on Wylie Drive and encompasses over 248,000 square feet of retail stores and office spaces including Bronze Giraffe Antique Mall, Sugar Art, Chestnut Health Systems, Show Me Dough, Digital Copy Systems and AFNI.
SugarOak is a full service real estate company offering investment, management, and construction services across multiple property types. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, SugarOak has ownership interests and management portfolios across the US and Canada.
