The Cow and the Calf Art Gallery Signs Lease at Peach Shops

SugarOak recently announced that a lease was signed with The Cow and the Calf Art Gallery at the Peach Shops in Byron, GA. The Cow and the Calf Art Gallery leased 3,440 square feet. They are part of the One and One Half Arts Council striving to encourage and promote art projects in Peach County and surrounding areas. The need for an arts council in the community became evident after many years and events where local artists have been featured. In addition to the Council they've also seen a need for an area where these local artists can display and sell their works as well as share their passion for their art form by holding classes and workshops. The council will be opening The Cow and the Calf Art Gallery very soon in the Peach Outlet Shops located right off I-75 in Byron, Georgia. They hope to be able to offer classes in all art forms ~ painting, pottery, photography, performance arts and more! Although the space will hold many artists, they will be limited in what they can accept. Georgian Place Plays Host to Celebration

The merchants and businesses at Georgian Place are inviting the community to a Rejuvenation Celebration today through Sunday at the shopping and office village in Somerset.

There will be prizes, discounts, special events and entertainment throughout the weekend. Customers can bring their own lawn chairs to watch entertainment on the courtyard lawn.

Georgian Place began to reinvent itself four years ago with medical and professional offices, a fitness center and several service-oriented businesses anchoring a group of outlet and independent retailers.

The facility recently added several new businesses. Hexie’s High Country Mercantile opened in Suite 405. The shop features a variety of items, including Talavera Animals made in Mexico, soy candles and bath and body products made daily in the store.

Summer Concerts 2009

SugarOak Opens PODs Franchises

SugarOak is now managing three PODS franchises for an investment group in Oahu, Hawaii; Toronto, Ontario; and Vanacouver, British Columbia. PODS is a portable storage unit that is delivered to your door and transported back to the storage facility when it is packed. PODS can be stored, or delivered to a new location. SugarOak has expansion plans to open more franchises in Maui, Hawaii, and Victoria’s Island, British Columbia.
